Fasano is a luxury residential brand offered by the hotel and real estate group “Fasano.” The brand is present in Uruguay-particularly in La Barra-with “Fasano Las Piedras,” a 480-hectare development set in a dazzling landscape of arid areas and rocks. It combines private homes, hotel bungalows, and numerous facilities, such as a spa, equestrian center, polo and golf courses, and even a 3 km stretch of beach, making it the only Beach & Country development in Punta del Este.
At Fasano Las Piedras, both the landscape development and the built environment are arranged with pronounced respect for the original terrain. Units are dispersed across the property as isolated modules, coexisting with restored original buildings. The project was designed by Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld, renowned for his works that achieve perfect harmony between the space and the natural surroundings.
At Nómade, we had the privilege of contributing to the design and communication of the pedestrian path “Las Piedras.” We proposed a system designed to integrate discreetly with the environment, guiding visitors elegantly, through a visual narrative consistent with the serene and sophisticated style of the location. The system was designed not only to orient residents and guests, but also to inform and foster appreciation for the natural wealth of native flora and fauna that are part of the project.
