The Instituto Uruguayo Argentino is a prestigious school in Punta del Este, Maldonado, Uruguay, with a history spanning 48 years—and counting!—. IUA is a synonym of academic excellence, preparation for the real world, sense of belonging, and integration for local and international children and teenagers living near the sea.
With beachfront facilities and a sports campus nestled in the woods, the IUA is part of Uruguayan culture. It was born out of the commitment of a family from Maldonado and the encouragement of Uruguayan and Argentinian parents who motivated and inspired them to keep growing.
Today, the school encompasses all levels—from kindergarten through high school—offers multilingual education, and reaffirms its commitment to the education and cultural integration of students and their families in Maldonado.
On the eve of its 50th anniversary, IUA called on us at Estudio Nómade to capture its essence, reimagine it, and project it into a 360-degree redesign approach. The process involved close collaboration with the IUA team and included an in-depth study of the competitive landscape, the articulation of its positioning, the strengthening of its brand DNA, and the translation of the brand strategy into new graphic, audiovisual, and narrative tools.
